If there’s one thing that Sydney is addicted to, it’s the search for great dumplings. We search high and low, through the back alleys and bright lights, for the perfect pocket of pork.. or shrimp.. or vegetables (hey, we’re not fussy) – and the good news is, they are in abundance in this city. But I do believe that one place does dish up a far superior dumpling, and that place is Din Tai Fung.
You might sneer at the idea of dining at a joint that has a chain of restaurants across Sydney, and if that’s the case, you are tragically missing out.
Din Tai Fung started in Taiwain all the way back in 1974, and now its red logo can be found all over the world – Australia, Japan, the United States, Singapore – and Sydney is home to four restaurants, located in World Square, Central Park, Chatswood…
